The 1st August marked a significant milestone for me, my business NE Display Ltd celebrated its 20th birthday. It’s likely the halfway point in my working life, and reaching it was emotional. But what made the day truly unforgettable was that it was also the day you placed your trust in me to serve as Chair of the North Tyneside Business Forum.
I’ve always been proud to be part of a thriving and dynamic business community. However, it wasn’t until I joined the management team of the Forum that my deeper love and appreciation for the borough and its people truly took root.
It’s a genuine honour to serve as Chair of the North Tyneside Business Forum, and to be joined by an incredible group of dedicated and supportive individuals on our management team. I couldn’t have hand picked a better mix of people to share this journey with. And I stand proudly alongside you all as we continue to serve as ambassadors for our borough, championing its incredible potential and supporting the businesses and communities that make North Tyneside such a special place.
Our mission remains as it always has, rooted in connection, support, and opportunity. We will continue to host events that are informative and relevant, delivering practical advice tailored to real business needs by the very best professionals and experts in their field. With great respect and appreciation, we will continue to maintain strong relationships with our trusted business partners, who’s support enables us to keep our members informed about grants, training opportunities and available resources.
Our vision is to create a movement that celebrates the resilience of our North Tyneside’s business community, champions local enterprise and entrepreneurship, recognises the individual stories and personal investment behind every success and opens doors for the next generation of business leaders. Together with Chris our new vice chair and building on the strong foundations laid by Michael and Sangeeta.
We will create a space where every voice feels heard, where decisions are made with intention, and where collaboration always serves a greater purpose. I will listen more than I will speak, but I will communicate with transparency and purpose. We are more than a Forum; we are a movement. A movement driven by a passionate business community, and a belief in what we can achieve together in North Tyneside.
